Junk Removal Express (“we”, “us”) is a junk and furniture removal company based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, serving Surrey, White Rock and Delta. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s PIPEDA where they apply.
What we collect
- Information you give us when you call, text, WhatsApp or use the contact form: your name, phone number, the address where the job is, and a description of what needs to go.
- Photos you send us of the items so we can give you a ballpark price.
- Payment details at the time of service. We accept cash, credit card, debit and e-transfer. We do not store your card number on this website.
- Website usage information such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, collected with cookies and tools like Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To reply to you, give you a quote, schedule the job and complete it.
- To send receipts and follow up on the job we did for you.
- To understand how people use our website so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the people and services we need to run the business: our crew, our website host, Google (website analytics and Google Business Profile), and messaging apps you choose to contact us on (such as WhatsApp or text messaging). Those services have their own privacy policies. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and Google Analytics to measure traffic. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out tool, and the website will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep job records only as long as we need them for the service, our accounting and legal obligations, then securely delete them. Photos you send us are used for quoting and are not published without your permission.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law. You can also withdraw your consent to us contacting you at any time.
