Junk Removal Express provides junk removal in North Delta, BC. We are a locally owned crew that has been hauling junk out of homes, basements, garages and job sites on both sides of the Scott Road corridor since 2005. You point at what is going and we do the lifting, loading and clean-up, from a single mattress to a full basement suite.
Many North Delta homes are older bungalows and split-levels on larger lots, and many have a basement or secondary suite. That means more storage, more years of belongings, and regular tenant turnovers and renovations. We pick up from wherever the items sit, whether that is the driveway, the garage, the basement or a townhome unit, and we handle the donation, recycling and disposal. We are close to home, so Delta is priced the same as Surrey with no travel charge. Prices are below. Looking for something specific? Donate, Drop Off or Haul It Away?
If your items are gently used and in working condition, they may have a second life. The City of Delta suggests calling the BC Recycling Hotline at 604-732-9253 for local donation options. For batteries, Delta lists drop-off bins at the North Delta Recreation Centre, Sungod Recreation Centre and Kennedy Senior Centre. If you would rather take a mattress to the landfill yourself, Delta's recycling page explains the free mattress voucher and the $20 per unit surcharge. If you have a lot, it is broken, or you need it gone on a set day, that is where we come in.

Yes. The City of Delta has a Large Item Pick-Up program for households with single-family curbside collection: up to four large items a year, booked through Remple Disposal at (604) 835-1792. Items go out at the curb by 7:00am on your date, must be dry, in one piece and light enough for two people to lift, and mattresses must be wrapped and sealed in plastic. It is a good option if your items qualify and you can wait for the date. We are for everything else. Check delta.ca for the current rules.
What won't the City of Delta's pickup take?
According to delta.ca, the Large Item Pick-Up does not take small items or bagged and bundled junk, wet or cut-up furniture, electronics, small appliances, tires and batteries, construction and renovation materials, glass, or yard trimmings. If your items are on that list, text us a photo and we will tell you what it would cost.
Can you clear out a basement or secondary suite?

Text photos of each room and we will give you one ballpark for the whole visit. Carrying out from inside is a flat $35 per visit, and stairs are not an extra charge.
Can you do same-day junk removal in North Delta?
Often, yes. Call or text earlier in the day for the best chance of getting on today's schedule. Booking a day or two ahead gives us the most flexibility.

The City of Delta offers eligible households one free mattress recycling voucher a year, covering up to two mattress units at the Vancouver Landfill (otherwise there is a $20 per unit surcharge), but you have to deliver them yourself with ID. Check delta.ca for the current details.

Can you remove renovation debris from an older bungalow?
Yes. Old cabinets, countertops, flooring, carpet, doors, windows and other renovation debris are priced from a photo. The City of Delta's Large Item Pick-Up does not take construction and renovation materials, so this is a common reason North Delta homeowners call us.
Do you take TVs, computers and other electronics?
