Junk Removal Express provides junk removal in Surrey, BC. That means junk hauling, rubbish removal and garbage removal alike, from a single item to a full renovation or estate cleanout. We have been based here since 2005, so we are not driving in from another city. We are one of the local crews, and we have watched Surrey grow neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
Surrey is spread out, and it is changing fast. Big-lot homes in Cloverdale sit a short drive from new townhome complexes going up in Fleetwood, Clayton and Morgan Heights, and the Whalley towers keep filling. Renovation and strata-related junk make up a big share of what we haul. You tell us what is going, and we handle the lifting, loading, donation, recycling and disposal. Prices are below. Need one type of item? See furniture removal, couch & sofa removal or office & household junk removal.

Carry-out from inside is a flat $35 per visit, not per item, and stairs do not add to it. Items already at the driveway, curb or garage skip this fee.

Surrey's Free Large Item Pickup vs. Junk Removal Express

Firm price on arrival
We look at the job in person and confirm the price before anything is loaded.
We do the heavy lifting
No bags to drag to the curb and no truck to rent. Our crew takes items from inside your home, garage or office.
Donation first, recycling second, landfill last
Usable items go to donation where possible, metal and electronics are recycled where a facility accepts them, and the rest is disposed of properly.
Surrey, Area by Area
Surrey is not one neighbourhood. Here is what we see in each part of the city.
Whalley & City Centre
Condo and apartment towers where move-outs are common. Many buildings need an elevator booking or a loading bay, so tell us the time slot when you call.
Guildford & Fraser Heights
Houses, townhomes and condos around Guildford, and hillside homes in Fraser Heights. See our Fraser Heights page.
Fleetwood & Newton
Busy residential streets with houses, townhomes and secondary suites, so tenant turnovers and basement clear-outs come up often.
Cloverdale, Clayton & Morgan Heights
Big lots and sheds in Cloverdale, and newer townhome communities in Clayton and Morgan Heights where move-in boxes and packing materials pile up.
From Panorama Ridge and Sullivan Heights to Bear Creek, Bridgeview and Port Kells, the same crew and the same prices apply.
Why Surrey Chooses Us
We Cover the Whole City
Surrey is huge, from Cloverdale to Guildford to South Surrey. One local crew, one phone number, and no getting bounced between franchise zones.
Built for Growth & Renovation
With so much new construction and strata turnover across the city, we are set up for renovation debris and move-in and move-out jobs as much as household cleanouts.
Locally Owned Since 2005
We are not a national call centre. We live and work in Surrey, and our 5.0★ rating from 398+ Google reviews comes from two decades of local service.
Upfront, Transparent Pricing
Most junk removal companies hide their prices. Ours are on this page, and you get a firm number before we load.
Common Surrey jobs include a single mattress or appliance pickup, a couch and dresser from a move, a garage or shed clear-out, or a full load of renovation debris from a kitchen or bathroom remodel. Just tell us roughly what you have, and we will give you a ballpark before we even arrive.
Condo, Strata & Move-Out Tips for Surrey
Book the elevator early
Most strata buildings want a booking for the elevator or loading bay. Ask your manager, then tell us the slot.
Show us the route
A photo of the hallway, stairs or lobby we will carry through helps us give you a closer ballpark.
Pull what you want to keep
Clear out papers, valuables and personal items, and empty drawers and cabinets before the crew arrives.
Make it one trip
The $130 minimum applies per visit, so add the locker, the parking stall and the spare room to the same pickup.
Services Available Across Surrey
Book any of these on their own, or bundle them into one visit.
Gently used items in working order may have a second life. The City of Surrey lists donation options such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore, the Salvation Army, WorldServe Thrift Store and the White Rock South Surrey Hospice Thrift Store, and some offer pickup, so call first. Prefer to drive it yourself? Metro Vancouver runs Recycling and Waste Centres in Central and North Surrey; check what they accept and what fees apply. When the pile is big, broken or on a deadline, that is our cue.
Who We Work With
Homeowners clearing a garage or a basement. Tenants and landlords at move-out. Strata councils with a storage room to empty. Renovators and contractors with debris to go. Families settling an estate or helping a parent downsize. Realtors getting a listing ready. If it is junk and it is in Surrey, send us a photo.
Our approximate prices start at $80 for a dresser. A mattress, a box spring or a regular 3-seater couch is about $100, a sectional is $200, a bed frame is $150, one appliance is from $100, and tires are $15 each (up to 6 per visit). Anything else is priced from a photo. The minimum is $130 per visit, plus 5% GST, with disposal and recycling included, and we confirm the final price before we load.
Do you cover all of Surrey, or only certain neighbourhoods?
All of it: Whalley and City Centre, Guildford, Fleetwood, Newton, Cloverdale, Clayton, Morgan Heights, Ocean Park, Fraser Heights, South Surrey, Crescent Beach and everywhere in between. One local crew and one phone number cover the whole city, so you do not get bounced between franchise zones. The $130 minimum covers the drive, so there is no extra charge by neighbourhood.
Doesn't the City of Surrey pick up large items for free?
Yes. The City runs a free Large Item Pickup for eligible households: up to 6 items a year (8 with a registered secondary suite, 4 for apartment buildings). You book it ahead, set items out by 7:30am on the day, and seal mattresses in a clear plastic bag. If your items qualify and you can wait for the date, use it. We are the better call when you have more than the limit, when the City will not take the item, when you need a firm day, or when you want the crew to carry it out from inside. Check surrey.ca for the current rules.
What items does the City of Surrey pickup refuse?
According to surrey.ca, it does not take renovation or demolition materials (doors, windows, cabinetry, drywall, countertops), carpet and rugs, hot tubs, bathtubs, toilets and sinks, fences, wood pallets, glass and mirrors, pianos or commercial waste. Text us a photo of anything on that list and we will tell you the price.
Can I get same-day junk pickup in Surrey?
Often. The earlier you call or text, the better the odds of fitting you into today's route. If your timing is flexible, booking a day or two ahead gives us the most room to work with.
How do I get a free estimate?
Text or WhatsApp a photo of the pile to (604) 512-2921 and say where it is sitting. We text back a ballpark price, usually within minutes. Nothing is loaded until the firm price is agreed on-site.
What does mattress removal cost in Surrey?
Mattress removal is about $100 for a mattress or a box spring, or both together, plus 5% GST. If we carry it down from a bedroom or a condo unit, add the flat $35 carry-out for the visit. It is not charged per mattress.
What does couch removal cost in Surrey?
Couch removal runs about $100 for a regular 3-seater and about $200 for a sectional, plus 5% GST. Recliners, loveseats and hide-a-beds depend on size, so send a photo for an exact number. Disposal is included.
Can you do appliance removal for a fridge, washer, dryer or stove?
Yes. Appliance removal starts at $100 for one appliance, and a full kitchen's worth during a renovation is priced as a bundle. Working appliances are donated where possible, and metal is recycled where a facility takes it.
Do you remove hot tubs in Surrey?
Yes. A hot tub is a heavier job that needs extra hands and sometimes extra equipment, so tell us when you call where it sits and how we get to it, and we will quote it from a photo. The City's free pickup does not take hot tubs. More on our hot tub disposal page.
Can you take a full load of renovation or construction debris?
Yes. With so much building going on across Surrey, renovation and contractor debris is one of our most common jobs: old flooring, carpet, kitchen cabinets, doors, windows and drywall offcuts. We quote it from a photo. The City's Large Item Pickup does not accept renovation materials.
Can you get a truck into a strata complex, townhome or high-rise?
Yes. We regularly work in Surrey's strata buildings, townhome complexes and gated communities. If there is a visitor parking rule, a loading bay booking or an elevator restriction, mention it when you call and we will plan the job around it.
Do you do move-out cleanouts for tenants and landlords?
Yes. Landlords, property managers and tenants call us for move-outs and unit turnovers. Send a photo of each room and we will give one ballpark for the visit. Our eviction cleanout page has more.
Can you help with an estate cleanout or a downsizing move?
Yes. We regularly handle full estate cleanouts and downsizing jobs across Surrey, working at your pace and setting donation-worthy items aside when you ask.
Do you haul yard waste, branches and old tires?
Yes. Yard waste, branches and grass clippings are priced from a photo, and tires are $15 each, up to 6 per visit, plus 5% GST.
Do you take TVs, computers and other e-waste?
Yes. TVs, computers and monitors are priced from a photo and recycled where a facility accepts them.
Is junk hauling the same as rubbish removal and garbage removal?
For us, yes. Junk hauling, rubbish removal and garbage removal are one job: you point at what is going and we load it, take it away and deal with the disposal. That covers a single item or a whole property.
Can you come for just one item?
Yes, with a $130 minimum per visit. If you only have one thing, it is worth adding the odd extras from the garage or storage locker to the same trip.
Where does my junk end up, and do I get a receipt?
Donation comes first, recycling second and landfill last. Disposal and recycling are included in the price, and you get a proper receipt that shows our GST number.
