We didn’t start Junk Removal Express because we had a passion for old mattresses or broken drywall. We started it because we saw our own neighbors in Surrey, Delta, and White Rock struggling with a common problem: life gets cluttered, and the “big guys” make clearing it out way too complicated.

It all began with one truck, a couple of pairs of work gloves, and a simple realization while driving down King George Boulevard. We noticed that people either had to pay massive franchise fees for a simple pickup or spend their precious weekends waiting in line at the North Delta transfer station. We knew there had to be a better way—one that felt more like a helping hand and less like a corporate transaction.

Building a Business on a Handshake

In the beginning, it was just us helping families in Cloverdale clear out estates and helping retirees in White Rock downsize their seaside cottages. We learned quickly that junk removal isn’t just about hauling stuff away; it’s about the stories behind the items. It’s about the relief on a mother’s face when her garage is finally safe for the kids to play in, or the excitement of a small business owner in Newton finally clearing space for new inventory.
